Split History

Stock splits are used by Liberty Media, Sirius XM Group Series B to keep share prices within reasonable numbers to encourage investment. If the share price of a security gets too high, a company can perform a stock split by issuing all shareholders an extra share, thereby halving the price of an individual share. If the share price gets too low, companies can do reverse splits. This is common when share prices drop below $1.00 and company's become in danger of being delisted. However, because of the cost, stock splits are not a normal business occurrence.

Negative Sentiment In Entercom Communications Is Misconceived

2018-10-15 seekingalpha
Entercom Communications Corp (ETM) is the second largest terrestrial radio broadcasting company in the United States. As a ‘traditional media’ business, it is subject to the prevailing market view that its business is in terminal decline, whilst ‘new media’ companies like Spotify Technology SA (SPOT) are expected to grow to the sky (and are priced by the market accordingly). At the present share price, the market is implying that the decline in Entercom’s business will be rapid. (2-1)

Sirius XM And Pandora Can Take Synergies Quite Far

When a big deal happens there are always those with concern. If we stop and think about it a moment, those that like what already exists have little reason to embrace change when it is first presented. The true value of a move in business is not always realized right away. That will likely be the case with this deal. (55-0)
