I first wrote about Foster (FSTR) when the stock traded for $12.65 with an article titled, Near-Term Problems, But Shares Are Clearly Undervalued. Now, in spite of the shares being about 70% more expensive, I believe that an investment now to be considerably safer than when it traded in the low teens. As it presently stands, there is practically no risk from Foster tripping debt covenants, which for a while, it appeared very likely that Foster was going to breach. (1-0)

2017-07-23 seekingalpha
L.B. Foster Co (NASDAQ:FSTR) is positioned to do well in 2017. New contracts and substantial backlog have lifted the stock price closer to its intrinsic value, which, I believe, is at least $25. L.B. Foster is also better diversified than most companies in the space, with 48% of operations in rail, 31% in construction and 21% in tubular and energy. Geographically, 10% of its operations are in Europe, mainly in cross-rail projects.
