Split History

Stock splits are used by Angie's List, Inc. to keep share prices within reasonable numbers to encourage investment. If the share price of a security gets too high, a company can perform a stock split by issuing all shareholders an extra share, thereby halving the price of an individual share. If the share price gets too low, companies can do reverse splits. This is common when share prices drop below $1.00 and company's become in danger of being delisted. However, because of the cost, stock splits are not a normal business occurrence.

The futures traded down again Thursday morning, and it appears that the back and forth trading on Wednesday wore down investors. Once again, the trade and tariff issues were cited as the main reason. Oil jumped again, sparked by a big drop in crude inventories, closing up over 2.5%. With summer vacations in full swing and Americans hitting the road in record numbers to celebrate the fourth of July, you can bet there may be some added pain at the pump. (130-0)
