Modison Metals declared an interim dividend of 100% on equity shares of the FV Rs 1, i.e. Rs 1 per share and has fixed February 24, 2017 as the record date for the purposed payment of interim dividend for FY 2016-17.
Sales was lower by 2% to Rs 168.18 crore and with OPM expand by 580 bps, the operating profit was up by 58% to Rs 25.88 crore. After accounting for higher other income, lower interest, lower depreciation, the PBT was up by 159% to Rs 17.19 crore. The taxation was up by 209% to Rs 6.30 crore and thus the PAT was up by 136% to Rs 10.88 crore.
The board of directors of Elantas Beck India on Tuesday approved selling a property in Pune. The property admeasuring about 6,239 square metres is located at Pimpri Waghere on the Mumbai-Pune Road. The approval is subject to the terms and conditions to be agreed upon in a memorandum of understanding to be executed between the company and the buyer Sukhwani Associates. The company’s board of directors will meet again on July 27 for its final approval of the proposal.

Data showing deceleration in growth in India's services sector in June 2016 and weakness in global stocks weighed on sentiment on the domestic bourses.

A private survey showing that India's services sector activity slowed in June and weakness in Asian stocks weighed on sentiment.
